Dr Mohan Lal Jangid

Dr. Mohan Lal Jangid is an Assistant Professor at NIIT University. He holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His doctoral studies were supported by the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). He holds an M.Com in Accounting and Finance from the Central University of Rajasthan and a B.Com from Ramjas College, University of Delhi.
His research interest lies primarily in the intersection of corporate finance and climate change risks, with a particular focus on corporate carbon risk, carbon disclosure, climate finance, climate governance and ESG issues. He has published his work in reputed international journals, including the Asian Review of Accounting and the Journal of Advances in Management Research. He has presented his research at several prominent international conferences, including the India Finance Conference, WCARS, and INDAM. He received the Best Paper Award at the 9th INDAM Conference and the First Prize for Paper Presentation on Research Scholars’ Day at IIT Roorkee.
Before joining NIIT University, he gained valuable professional experience as a Teaching Assistant for Executive MBA and NPTEL courses at IIT Roorkee
