NIIT University (NU) held the 16th Convocation ceremony on Saturday, 24 October 2026.

An interactive invited talk titled ‘Understanding Climate Change and Corrective Actions in Daily Life’, was conducted by Prof Chetan Singh Solanki, a distinguished scientist and retired professor at IIT Bombay, widely recognized as the “Solar Man of India” and the “Solar Gandhi” guided by objectives of sustainability and self-sufficiency. Prof Solanki interacted with students and faculty separately.

NIIT University (NU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ServiceNow to integrate industry-focussed learning pathways into all its BTech streams. ServiceNow is an AI platform for business transformation.

NU got an opportunity to listen to an insightful session by Mr Bhaskar Gandhavadi, Senior Director, ServiceNow University – India Lead, on the theme “AI for All: India’s Blueprint for AI-Ready Talent” on Thursday 16 July 2026 from 10:30 – 11:30 am.

NIIT University successfully conducted ENTENTE 2026, a three-day international conference held from 8th to 10th April 2026. ENTENTE 2026 witnessed strong academic engagement with international participation from countries including Uzbekistan, Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico, and the USA.
