Date: January 17 2026
Time: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
Venue: University Grounds
Raath Mahotsav is a cultural and social event organized with the objective of celebrating art, tradition, and community bonding. The event was designed to provide a platform for artistic expression while fostering a sense of togetherness between NIIT University and its neighbourhood community. The program successfully combined cultural performances with social responsibility, making it a meaningful and memorable occasion.
Following the musical performances, classical dance presentations were conducted. These performances showcased the richness of traditional dance forms, emphasizing rhythm, expression, and cultural heritage. The dancers demonstrated high levels of skill, discipline, and dedication, which reflected the importance of preserving classical art forms.
One of the key highlights of the event was a performance of Kavishala, which involved poetic expression and storytelling. This segment provided intellectual and emotional depth to the event, allowing the audience to connect with literature, social themes, and creative thought through poetry.
Raath Mahotsav emphasized social welfare. On this day, food was distributed to a large number of people, reflecting the spirit of service and compassion. This initiative promoted values of sharing, inclusivity, and community support, reinforcing the idea that cultural celebrations should also contribute positively to society. Tree planting was done by the community on adjoining NU hills.
