Dr Sachin Dubey

Dr Sachin Dubey is an academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with primary interests in computer vision and video analytics. His doctoral work examined abnormal events in surveillance video, focusing on practical challenges encountered in real-world monitoring systems. His research is driven by application-oriented problems in areas such as public safety, smart environments, and intelligent infrastructure, with an emphasis on developing methods that remain effective under realistic operating conditions. As part of his future research endeavours, he aims to extend computer vision techniques to agriculture-focused applications, including crop health assessment, anomaly detection in precision farming, and vision-based analysis of agricultural environments, contributing to intelligent and sustainable agricultural systems.
Dr Dubey has several years of teaching experience and has served as Assistant Professor at UPES, Dehradun, and earlier at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core areas of computer science, including Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, and Digital Logic Design. His teaching philosophy emphasizes strong conceptual foundations, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while aligning coursework with contemporary industry and research trends
