The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of NIIT University led by Aryan Pandey, Muskan Yadav, Soumith Gajula organized a Blood Donation Camp on the college campus, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society. The primary objective of the drive was to contribute to the community’s emergency blood reserves and raise awareness amongst NU fraternity.

A team of qualified doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff conducted comprehensive health screenings and overall fitness evaluations before approving donors to ensure utmost safety and hygiene throughout the procedure.

The response from the student body and faculty was overwhelmingly positive. A substantial number of students, faculty and staff members came forward enthusiastically to participate in the noble cause. Each donor was provided with post-donation refreshments and monitored in a dedicated rest area.

As a token of appreciation and recognition for their civic responsibility, all participating students were awarded official certificates of appreciation from the Indian Red Cross Society.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the NU NSS program coordinator, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Red Cross Society medical team, student coordinators, and donors for making the camp an inspiring success. The initiative reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to community welfare, youth engagement, and social responsibility.
